To meet demand for sustained service of Athena workstations in the
public cluster here, I:
- swapped eliot's mouse for a working mouse from a
non-essential workstation.
- turned olmsted off and replaced it with a Vaxstation 2000
from the "backyard" research cluster. I don't have a
spare mouse to swap for it, so the machine is pretty
much useless.
So, I still need two mouses: one for olmsted and one for the machine
I swapped mouses from. Is it DEC that will swap out the
mouses? In that case do I have to have the mouses physically
attached to a machine-under-maintenance?
