'minos' is a development server machine that is in need of hardware
attention right away. Here are the main details. If additional info
is needed, please contact Lucien.
Hostname: minos
Machine type: IBM RT with Athena disk drives
Location: E40-008 machine room
Function: development server
DEC stickers: system: black 159; affected disk: black 293
Status: machine is critical; should be back in service
ASAP
Problem description: 'minos' is down with its Athens drive 0
(on the bottom of the stack) unusable. The symptom
is the disk power supply LED flasing, the "unit
read" fails to light. (We have troublshooting
manuals if DEC needs.)
