The printer helios is no longer displaying a fuser error message, and I was able to print to it.
The case will remain open, but as of now the only problem I see - and perhaps this caused a disturbance in the fuser - is that the toner cartridge, yet again, is spilling all over the place. I will vacuum it when I have the vacuum and the opportunity.
