The mouse on this machine has experienced intermittent failure. This
results in mouse events being lost, often causing X to fail. Just
recently, a user was logging in and could not do anything because the
mouse cursor was not in an xterm and could not be moved. This appears
to be a hardware problem, as the mouse in question was previously on
another machine which experienced the same problem
(frumious-bandersnatch) and then moved to jabberwock. Please repair
or replace this mouse. Thank you.
