Hi,
The printer bob in the m1-142 cluster has been jamming repeatedly.
I've cleared paper from several places in the printer, and it seems
to pass the paper path check each time I do, but promptly rejams.
It usually ends up with paper crumpled in an accordion shape by the
left-hand door, and paper on the right hand side under the flap that's
accessible when the toner cartridge is removed. The message usually
says to look in the right-hand door, though that almost never
reveals paper. I've also checked that the trays have paper and the
tray locks are in the proper position. I think it's haunted.
I downed the printer pending you getting to look at it. When you
have, please return it to service by running:
athena% lpc up bob
athena% lpc msg bob
Thanks very much,
Mitch
