1) At 03:00 this morning we lost connectivity to repeater E001 in the
1-101J janitor's closet. At approximately 08:00 the problem was
investigated and we found that the power had been disconnected to both
the network and telephone equipment. Later it was found that wiring
had also been ripped out effecting both MITnet and 5ESS service. The
problem was reported to both Telecom and Campus Patrol.
2) At 06:00 repeater E21 in the 1-146 Athena cluster died. This may
have been related to electrical work being done in the area. This
problem has also been reported to Telecom.
