As of about 7:30pm tonight, all files that were on talos:/u2 became
available on rodan:/u2 (thanks to Mark handling the Hesiod changes
this afternoon). So, those files were unavailable to users for about
4hrs this afternoon.
As of 10pm tonight, files are still getting copied from talos:/u1
to aphro:/u3, and dump reports that it will finish in another 12 hrs.
I don't think it will take that long, but I will come in tomorrow
morning before 8am, and see where things stand. So, thos files have
been unavailable since about 3:30pm this afternoon, and the clock is
still ticking...
Fortunately, all the course lockers were on talos:/u2, so that outage
was minimized. And, we ran 'fsck' on both filesystems involved, and
it reported no errors. And, the new Fujitsu drive on rodan seems to
be working fine. So, things could be worse.
