Upgrade/swap 6-120 workstation?

I'm with the MIT Anime Club, and we frequently hold public showings
in 6-120. A lot of the material that we use is only available as
multimedia video files, and at the moment we have to always bring in
an officer's personal laptop because the Sun workstation in the room
isn't powerful enough to deal with full-screen video.
Is it possible for you to swap out the workstation there for one of
the more up-to-date x86 machines from a cluster? It would save us a
lot of hassle if we could use the room's built-in facilities.
