9/4/03: Replacing the formatter did not solve the errors. Replacing the JetDirect card DID, though. So a new one was order.
9/5/03: With the new card installed, the printer comes up without any EIO errors.
NOTE TO ATHENA: Now you guys just need to set up the printer / new card on the network and you'll be all set.
