can't attach rs1

The user at m36-878-1 tried to attach rs1.new, but first got a timeout on
talos (no mention of odysseus!) and then started getting kerberos errors.
His tickets were fine, and the time (gettime) on all three: talos, odysseus
and his workstation, were all the same.  He tried pinging talos, and it
pinged just fine.  I don't know why it was trying to attach rs1.new on
talos instead of odysseus ...

Could you please look into this?

PS - I had the user log into a nearby workstation and try again.  He hasn't
called again, so I assume the change of workstation fixed things.
