Barker paper was jammed under toner cartridge and wrapped around transfer roller. Although the queue was down, it was not cleared, and jobs were still transmitting through, including one job from a user whose name wasn't even on the queue. there were some 40 EIO errors during these jobs.

There was also a display message about low toner.

Once the queue was cleared and the Network card reseated / printer powercycled, I printed paper path tests and test pages without incident, save for fading toner.

I would say that the jams were caused by the bad jobs in the queue, and - based on the location of the jams and the "toner low" message - caused by the cartridge itself. The Athena guys should change the toner, up the queue, and see what happens.

Paul
