Hello,
I am writing to report several problems with m1-252-1 and m1-252-2, which
are color VS2 workstations, and the two VDP50 videodisc players connected to
them.
m1-252-1: There is a problem again with getting images to appear on the
screen; communication with the VDP50 is being made, i.e. I can eject, play,
search and spin down the VDP50 from m1-252-1, but no images come up on the
monitor. If you could either look at this or email me with instructions on how
to correct this problem, I would appreciate this. The galatead.conf file looks
fine.
m1-252-2: The monitor appears to be about dead. I cannot see anything on
the screen except for colors jumping around the screen everywhere. It looks
like it lost its vertical hold or something like that, but I am not sure how to
describe it completely. The VDP50 player next to m1-252-2 has problems with the
optical track; when I try to access a large frame number near the end of the
videodisc(but not at or past the end) the player gets stuck and does not reset
itself for searching frames until after it has been shutdown and restarted.
Please look at these problems and let me know the status of them. Thank you
