Two technicians have responded to my previous email. The first diagnosed that
a new power supply was needed. The second installed a power supply, but it
did not resolve the problem. Upon hearing about the symptoms below, as per
my original email, the second technician suggested that the power supply was not
likely to be the problem and that the wrong diagnosis was made by the first
technician.
I hope that this can be resolved soon, as I am losing out on a significant
amount of machine time that is very valuable to my work.

Subject:workstation will not reboot
- --------
Penn, an RT workstation in my office, will not reboot. It goes 3/4th of the
way through the boot-up cycle and then shuts down. Could this be checked
ASAP? It is quite important for my work to have this machine up and running.
My office is 9 - 524 within the computer resource lab. If I am not in, the
lab coordinator, Susan Levesque can let you in.
Thanks,
