Running Diags on Menhaden

Hi John,
The info you've given me seems to point to a hardware problem.
Our records show that Menhaden is a decstation-3100 model 30. If this is
correct try the following procedure:
- press the reset button to get the ">>>" prompt
- at the >>> prompt type "TEST 0"
This will run the system test. Problems encountered by the system test
will be indicated by a "??" (single question marks are ok). If any errors
are report please note the info that's displayed following the "??".
If you need more info let me know. I can fax you a few pages from the
diag manual.

Hello Kim,
Can't ping here either. I tried the network connection from menhaden on
another box. Works fine. So, I power cycled menhaden and got:
KN01 v6.5
7..6..5..4..3..2..
FAILURE
and then it boots. Still no response to a ping. Is this all a good clue?
