Subject: recover files stored from 8mm tape

I'M SUN BURNED!
I worked all summer on a Sun workstation, and archived my files
onto 8mm tape using an Exabyte tape drive and the tar command.
Now I want to get some of these files into a Athena locker or 1/4 tape.
I most interested in extracting a few tar files which are about 50Mb in size.
CAN YOU POINT ME TO A SUN WORKSTATION WITH THIS CAPACITY?
or what is the best way to recover these files?
