I just spoke with Warren Scott of Phys Plant, and two things:
1. the alarm sensors failed when the cooling dropped
in 11-135 on ~20-Sept. The alarm sensors were repaired
as of Wednesday. As an extra measure, a work order has
been placed to test the sensors.
2. only one a/c unit is supposed to be on. the one closest
to the consultants office will be shut off. Warren wasn't sure why
the extra unit was turned on. One possibility is that the original
plan for the room called for both units to support the equipment.
I'll be speaking with Warren Scott and Dave Milay later in the week. If you
have any concerns about the a/c in the room, or about the notification process
please get back to me asap.
