Hello -

This message is in gfollow up to a conversation I had with Rita yesterday.

Rita DiCecca and Naomi Schmidt have both told me this is the place to send
my hardware problem.

A machine that was donated to Access Technology has a malfunctioning
monitor. (There may be a problem with the power supply in the cpu, also.
There are some reports of the machine not turning on on the first try.
Sometimes the on/off switch must by switched several times to power up the
machine.)

This donated unit was deployed in late August/Early september directly from
E40 to it's current assignment in 9-423. It was new out of the box, from
what I was told. I am hoping that this unit is still under warrenty. It
is an IBM PS2 model 70 with high res monitor card, Ungermann Bass ethernet
card, and 8 MB RAM. The serial number of the unit is either
V100-125/200/240 or P/N6247808 or FCCID AN09R78507.

Could you please take a look and let me know what can be done? I'm
concerned about getting this machine back up as fast as possible for the
user. Thanks!
