Hi Everyone,

There's been a misunderstanding. I decommissioned a Sparc 5 (with the property tags listed in this case) and it was picked up on 7/15/02. Apparently the case never got closed until yesterday, 8/7/02. I received e-mail confirming the case is closed. But this morning I found that my Sun Ultra-5 has been decommissioned and taken away!!!

Excuse me if I'm a little upset. I did not ask for my Ultra-5 to be decommissioned. I work on that machine every day. And I would appreciate it that it gets returned ASAP.

Whomever it is that took away my machine left me a printout of the case and said it's picked up and put in 4-054. The lack of attention to detail is ridiculous! The machine they took away is NOT a Sparc 5, and the property tags would not match the ones listed in the request either.

Please return my machine. It is a Sun Ultra-5, and it's currently an Athena machine called Cwistopher.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Margaret Wong - Web Consultant
