Hi... hammock.mit.edu, a Dell GX110 in the ESG cluster 24-618 (at
least I *think* it's a GX110) has a dead hard disk. It booted up
wanting manual fsck, but manual fsck reported read errors from the
disk, and there were omnious scraping noises from the disk as it was
giving those errors. I've powered it off for now.

Could you please replace its disk? I don't believe there are any
local data on the disk that require preserving.

If you need help getting access to the room, please contact Holly
Sweeet <hbsweet@mit.edu> x3-7786 or Julie Banda <banda@mit.edu>
x8-0418.

Thanks,
---Tom
