Hi,
We have been requested to move one of the two Athena workstations in our
office (Room 1-139) so that an airconditioning unit can be installed.
The movement is temporary, the contractors expect to have the job
completed in a week. Unfortunately this request was given to us today
(Tuesday 9/10/91) The contractor wants to start work late Wednesday
  (9/11/91) or early Thursday (9/13/91).

The machine that needs to be moved is called m1-139-1. It is the machine
on the left as you walk in the door of Room 1-139. The contractor requested
that there be at least a 5 foot clearway from the wall that this machine
backs onto. Therefore the machine in question will have to have the power
disconnected and be moved to an alternative location. I realise that
this is something that we should not do ourselves.

Would it be possible to get this machine moved tomorrow (Wednesday) as
the placement of the AC and the machines are both crucial to the workings
  of this office.

I apologise for such short notice but the request came late
in the day and I could not contact Customer Suport in time.

  Yours sincerely,
  Ruaidhri O'Connor
