A user came in to the SIPB office to report that this monitor was
making loud snapping noises. About twice a second, it would go "snap"
and go out completely, and then the monitor would start to come back
on again.
It stopped just before I shut it off; whatever was doing it might have
finally gone for good. I put a dated note on it and left the CPU box
off as well.
