Sometime around 8/22-8/23, all the files in my athena account were deleted.
I discussed this with an olc consultant (starflt@TAILGUNNER.MIT.EDU) and he
suggested that I send mail to hotline to see what (if anything) could be done
to recover the lost files. What are my chances of getting this stuff back?
I'm primarily interested in getting my old mail messages, though I'd like
the rest of it too, if possible. Since nearly all of the files were more
than a few weeks old, there shouldn't be too much of a problem with recent
stuff not being covered by athena backups (depending on how often athena
does backups.) Please let me know if any additional information is required.

Also, although the consultant suggested that it was unlikely the file
deletion had anything to do with recent athena changes, it seems to me that
the date on which it occurred was more than just coincidence. Is it possible
that the files were deleted as a result of activities associated with the
athena upgrades?

Thanks for your help.
