Hello, I spoke to someone on the phone about this over a week ago.
He said to send an e-mail message describing the circumstances
surrounding the loss of the file, to help in the recovery. I have since
sent several email and voice-mail messages, but have been unable to get
hold of anyone. Is there another place I should be sending these messages
to? I'm quite anxious about this file, and would like to know whether I'll
be able to get it back. Thanks.

Hello again,
I was just wondering about the status of my file
/mit/bdclub/programs/members.info I had sent e-mail 2 days ago
detailing the circumstances surrounding its loss, after I spoke with
someone at the hotline number by telephone. To summarize: the file in
question was severely corrupted on or after 10 July 1991, so I was
trying to recover the most recent version on or before 9 July 1991.
I hope you will be able to assist me, since it was an important
file and is virtually impossible to recreate! Thanks.
