I picked up an SGI Indy the other day from a guy on eBay...and now that I've
plugged it up, it says it's part of a cluster named "Athena". The only
problem is, there's no root password...and, after doing some research, I
find that "tellme root" should give me this password, but there's not any
valid logins, that I can tell.
As the system insists it's one of yours, and I'm just wanting to log in as
*something* so I can start clearing it out, can you tell me if there are any
default user/pass combinations that you've put on these systems, that I can
try?
Worst case scenario, I can wipe it, if I can find a copy of the Irix media
for a reasonable sum. I'm just wanting to play with machine some, and get a
feel for Irix and the Indy, tho, and that seems a little drastic. :)
Thanks for any help.
