the workstation m1-142-11.mit.edu is having problems with network
connection -- its d/l speeds are about 5k/s while the surrounding
machines continue to operate normally. it also is unable to do
lpq queries, as best i can tell. my guess is a defective nic or
a broken driver but yeah, i'm just reporting the problem.
