Hi:

I''m new here, and need to upgrade snapdragon located in N42-220 T to
overcome an sshd vulnerability network security has flagged. As I don't
have any idea what the root password of this machine I inherited is, I
would appreciate it if you could reinstall and reset the root password
of the snapdragon machine located in N42-220 T. I can then apply the
requisite upgrades.

< Assuming you don't have any local data I suggest that you send email
< to hotline@mit.edu with the name and location of the machine and ask
< them to re-install it. If you want to re-enable remote access after ,
< the machine is re-installed, there are instructions available at
< http://web.mit.edu/olh/Private/Private.html#HDR5.0 If you do have
< local data it may be possible to update the machine anyway, but it
< will be harder.

Thanks a lot!
