To all concerned. The City of Cambridge Water Treatment Plant is out of
service. Water supply to the Institute will be from the MWRA system.
Departments with DI/RO water treatment systems or other equipment should be
aware that water quality will be affected. MWRA water is not filtered as is
the Cambridge supply. In addition, there may be some water discoloration
through-out the City.
The Cambridge Water Department has advised us that the treatment plant will
be out of service for two or more weeks.
