Here at the Aero/Astro Library, one of our Athena terminals is on the blink. I called the Hardware hotline and described the error message to them, and they suggested that I write an email to this address and explain the problem. The machine appears to be down and when we try and reboot, this is the error message that appears: IP: Hardware address '00:e0:29:33:e1:bc' trying to be our address 018.078.001.100! (the name of this computer I believe is aero-ref or something to that effect - I actually can't check because the login screen will not load) The person on the hardware hotline suggested that someone has stolen our IP address and systems would have to do some case-tracking. Thanks and let me know if I need to report this to another support line. ---------- Oliver Zeff Senior Assistant Aero/Astro Library (617) 253-5516 oze@mit.edu
