ETA for the Fixed-Disk as reported by Patrick Sheehan of DEC's

ETA for the Fixed-Disk as reported by Patrick has been upgraded
to delivery on Thurs. 7/11. -Rita 7/10
Patrick used the disk for this system for a fix in W20 that needed a
disk. (A new one has been ordered.) -Rita 7/12

I was able to install software, however it went to blinking 89.
(No mention of a bad disk, though...hmmm.)

I met with Patrick Sheehan (DEC). We ran diags on this machine.
There was a hardware problem.
SRN: 13-74c
Fixed-disk drive in location C
RT Fixed-disk Drive Type R40
Patrick had a drive, he installed it.
I have installed software, but it went back to all the blinking numbers.
We ran diags again, and no problem was found.
Problem: needs R40 controller

Tom has troubleshooted this system 7/16/91. Tried a disk controller (no go).
Suspects other pieces of hardware, and should have more parts on Wednesday.
