A user crashed w20-575-46 such that it did nothing but repeat
"Rejected alloc-mem!" continuously at the "ok" prompt of the, um,
whatever you call the result of hitting stop-A. Mouse cursor
frozen (unsurprisingly), unresponsive to keyboard input including
stop-A (and ctrl-alt-delete gratuitously); I power cycled and it
seemed to be coming back fine (only watched til AFS cache scan started).
Looked like the user had been doing something with Netscape (surprise!).
