A recent athena patch release contained several security related fixes.
It is important to fix the problem below, in order to insure that
QUICKSTATION-MCCORMICK.MIT.EDU takes this patch release and these
security fixes.

We noticed that QUICKSTATION-MCCORMICK.MIT.EDU isn't automatically updating
when new Athena patch releases become available. It appears to think
that it is in the middle of an update already. The easiest way to fix
this is for you to log into the machine as root and use your favorite
editor to remove the last line of /etc/athena/version (The line that
says "version Update"). Make sure you do not leave any blank lines at
the end of the file. Once you have done this, QUICKSTATION-MCCORMICK.MIT.EDU
will once again take patch releases when they are available and no one
is logged in.
