To whom it may concern,
I recently purchased and installed a SUN Ultra 10 computer (kyzylkum.mit.edu)
in
room 48-208 with the help of Lou Isgur. It has been under a service
contract since its purchase. Everything had been working fine for about 6
months.
Recently, however, I have been having problems with the system. It will freeze
when being used or even if no one is logged on. There is no response and the
only solution is turning the workstation off.
Its giving the following messages:
"Watdog Reset:
Externally Initiated Reset
ok Illegal Instruction"
It has also said:
"Watch Illegal Instruction
ok Illegal Fast Data Access MMV Miss"
and
"Watchdog Reset
Fast Data Access MMV Miss
Fast DataFast In Externally Initiated Reset"
Please let me know how I can fix this problem. I can be reached at
