A user came into the SIPB office complaining about a problem inc'ing
his mail in xmh. He demonstrated on w20-575-33, a Dell GX1 running
Athena 8.4 in the W20-575 cluster: he could log in, type 'xmh &' at
the Athena prompt, and click the xmh "inc" button. This caused the
machine to do an immediate hard reboot; after the Dell splash screen,
it would display "Alert! Regulator failure" for about 30 seconds, and
then go into the normal boot sequence.
Given the nature of the failure and that this problem doesn't seem to
happen on other machines, I suspect this is a hardware problem with
the machine in question. Could you look at it, please? Thanks...
