I'm a grad student in the economics department doing work involving lengthy
simulations. The model I'm using is written in Scheme and I've been
developing it on the VS2000 Athena machines. On these machines, a single
run of the model takes about 5 hours. I'm now at the point where I need
to do about 500 runs of the model, which is a bit difficult to do on the
VS2000 machines. What other hardware options are there?
