Please.

All is NOT OK now.

The problem is that this machine will run for a few days and then hang
with the screen display frozen with the new Athena xlogin time-of-day
display indicating at what time it froze up.  When I came in yesterday
galen had hung on Jun 1.  Rebooting "fixes" the problem temporarily.
OF COURSE you're not going to see any problems.  I mentioned in my note
that I'd rebooted the machine upon finding it wedged.  That doesn't mean
the problem has been fixed or it has disappeared!

This manner of "solving" the problem is undoubtedly why I've had to
report it more than once.
