w20-575-29, a Dell Linux box in the W20-575 cluster, is having some
hard drive issues. When it tries to read certain parts of the disk,
the hard drive makes a grind-grind-grind-grind-grind noise, and the
read fails. This creates problems when trying to boot the system and
when trying to fsck the inevitably damaged partition.
