Paul Barton has asked me to help get his SUN machine working
correctly. The problems I know about are: I can't ssh to
that machine, even though sshd is running there. He has also
complained that sometimes he loses touch with the Athena
servers ( the machine is an Athena machine). I first sent
mail to f_l@mit.edu (the faculty liaison) who suggested I
contact you.
I'm sorry I don't have any first-hand information about the
Athena problems, but when I try to ssh to barton-sun, I get
this message:
Secure connection to barton-sun refused; reverting to insecure method.
Using rsh. WARNING: Connection will not be encrypted.
barton-sun.mit.edu: Connection refused
The machine is in 66-464. Paul Barton's extension is 3-6526
Please let me know if this is the wrong address to write to
on this matter.
