Workstation 'saarinen' has a bad disk

The workstation 'saarinen' is reporting read errors on its hard disk
during the fsck of the /var partition. The errors are reproducible.
Due to bad attachtab entries the machine is behaving a bit strangely,
although it is up at the moment. Looks like this machine needs a new
hard disk and a software reinstall.
This machine is in the CRL Garden, Room 9-550.
