Subject: Street Paving & Asbestos Abatement
Street Paving;
* The street and sidewalk upgrades on the alley between buildings 35
and 37 has begun and will be completed 10/28/00. It consists of installing
new street and sidewalk paving. There will be noise and dust associated
with the work and water will be used to control dust.
Asbestos Abatement
* The elevator lobby zone between 33 & 35 will receive new vinyl tile
flooring. But the asbestos tiles on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th floors will have to
be removed, basement and 1st floors have been abated. The 2nd and 4th
floors will be abated beginning Friday, 10/13/00 and completed on Saturday
10/14/00 and the 3rd floor will begin on Friday, 10/20/00 and completed on
Saturday, 10/21/00. These areas will sealed off to allow for abatement and
access to these locations will not be available during the abatement.
