ajax - jamming repeatedly

I couldn't figure out what was wrong with ajax. It would jam
repeatedly with a couple of pages wrinkled up under the toner
cartridge. I found both trays had been reconfigured, which I fixed,
but there must be something else that I missed.
Same result with printing from each tray, anyway, so I don't think it's
the trays.
I left the queue down with a message on it.
