when i was working on thesis, i had the odd experience of my files
being deleted for me by themis when doing various operations.
ex. i would save chap4.tex, and do a quota, and after the quota,
my chap4 would no longer be there. this happened many many times.
(i backed up my stuff elsewhere, but themis seems to be very very
hosed.)
