The Sun Sparc 4 workstation 'mackintosh' in Room 9-550 (the CRL Garden)
appears to have a defective disk. When I attempted to apply the 'fixkrb'
security patch today, it reported read errors on the disk. I rebooted
in single-user mode and did 'fsck -y /usr'. It's still running, and
it's turned up a very large number of errors. I think this disk is
toast. I will turn it off after the fsck completes. Please have
a look at it.
