Help! My finger stuttered and I sent "rm *" in my home directory.
Sub-directories are ok.
Among the missing are my dot files (not changed recently).
A bunch of .tex files (some changed last night, but I have hardcopy and
could reedit if the originals are available)
A bunch of .dia files from idraw (no changes for the past 2-3 days, also
recoverable from the hardcopy)
Miscellaneous (not changed recently)
I have some of this backed-up. But not the most recent stuff and not the
dot files.
What should I do? Can you get them from the system backups? What is the
time frame for that procedure?
