Dear Everyone:
I have just been informed that Air Handlers 4 and 5 - supply ventilation and
return as well as exhaust-general air that service 14W - 111 and the South
Wing West are down. As you know asbestos was removed in the Mechanical Room
in which these units are located. That work has been completed. EMS
(Environmental Medical Services) would like to run these fans beginning at
12 midnight tonight (Thursday, 4/13) and circulate air throughout the
building to make certain the units are operating efficiently. EMS will also
test the air while these units are operating. This can only be done when no
one is in the building. This procedure will take place on 4/13 and perhaps
4/14 and 4/15 from midnight to 6 AM. When I have further information
pertaining to this, I will send it along to you.
