Our students have been getting segmentation faults on this machine
when they try to run some C++ code which runs fine
on other machines in this cluster. For one student, it also managed
to change the permissions on a directory he had just
created so that he couldn't access it anymore.
All the same commands executed without problems on
other SGIs in the cluster. This machine keeps barfing
on all sorts of things...
Hope I'm reporting the problem to the right people.
