Machine reports:
un0: ethernet probably is disconnected
Everything else seems functional; it boots and fires up X, xlogin, etc...
I synced and rebooted, to no avail.
/usr/adm/messages reports:
vmunix: un0: 1 intermittent ethernet failures
ever since Apr 26 up until a couple of days ago. Now they are all the
"probably disconnected" message. Examining /etc/version reveals that the
machine's software was installed on that date.
