The dev.mit.edu AFS database server wham.mit.edu will go down for a
software update tonight (9/29/99) at 10:00 pm. The scheduled outage
window is up to three hours. All data on wham.mit.edu is replicated,
so the only user-visible outage should be a console message to the
effect of "lost contact with database server 18.86.0.28 in cell
dev.mit.edu".
