Hello! I was told that if a mouse causes problems I am to send you guys email
and include the serial number of the mouse. On the machine MIT-0219189*
in the 33-222 cluster there is a mouse SN: LH W9229 that doesn't
like having its leftmost button pressed -- when clicking on something it is occasionally to hit a carriage return, or hit the middle button instead.
I thought that it might just be slow, but clicking, holding and waiting doesn't
dod any good. Is it just dirty (and if so how does one ckean a mouse?) or is
there something seriously wrong.
At the moment the problem is intermittent, and therefore annoying, but not critical. This has happenned to me on other machines in the cluster, sometimes
more seriously, and sometimes the same as here.
If you get a chance, and all that jazz.
Thanks for your help!
