I have a question about privatized athena computers.
The passwd file for the privatized athena computer should look like this if
someone is in the login list, for instance
iacob:*:8164:101:Vito Iacobellis,,,,:/mit/iacob:/bin/athena/tcsh
The position for the password is occupied by a "*". What happens if the star
"*" is replaced by a cross "x"? Thank you.
