Hi,
The printer on McCormick desk (-Pmccormick) keeps jamming. I've
removed several and I find paper (1) wrinkled by the feed mechanism
out of the tay, (2) stuck in the rear of the printer, and (3) stuck
lying flat halfway through the toner cartridge. Once I found that the
printer had taken in a stack of 3 pages and got jammed as a result.
There also seems to be a problem with the top tray because the printer
claims the tray is empty when in fact there is paper there.
Also, I noticed that the queuing system automatically dequeues jobs
when the printer has a problem (jam, etc.). It does this after like 1
minute, which is not enough time for my to come down from my room and
unjam the printer. Once I fix the jam, I have to go back to my
computer because my job has been deleted. I did this like 4 times
over lunch today. Could to dequeuing time be made slightly longer?
Thanks,
Paulina Kuo
